Drexel University's LeBow College of Business has conducted online course evaluations since the fall of 2004 in order to gain a better understanding of how you, the students, felt about the quality of course delivery.

Why are the Online Course Evaluations so important?
LeBow College of Business is very concerned about the quality of teaching in all of its classes. Your written comments about each course and professor are very helpful to fellow students, faculty and administration. One of the ways we monitor the quality of course delivery is by asking for your feedback which helps ensure that we continue to deliver high quality instruction.
Why are the Online Course Evaluations done online instead of on paper?
Hosting the Course Evaluations online provides a secure environment in which to provide anonymous input and thereby providing the College with a more accurate view of your thoughts about your courses and instructors.
How can I insure that my responses will be recorded in an anonymous manner?
The information required at the time of log-on is only used to verify that you are a student of LCB and that you have pending evaluations. After that, no personal data is recorded in association with the answers you give. The only data captured through the Online Course Evaluations is the course ID and your answers. As a result, there is no way for us to connect you with your answers.
What is done with the information that I provide?
Responses to the Course Evaluation are sent directly to the Dean's office, Department Chairs and the faculty member who taught the course. Individual faculty use your responses for continuous improvement in their teaching effectiveness.
Why do I get so many emails reminding me to do the Course Evaluations?
Your input is necessary for LeBow College of Business to maintain the high level of teaching effectiveness in each course. The emails are to ensure that you have every opportunity to evaluate your course and so information can be shared with administration in a timely fashion and changes can be implemented. The response rate increases with each email reminder that is sent.
Why can't I unsubscribe from email reminder list?
The email contains no unsubscribe option because it is a Drexel email sent to your official email address. All Faculty, staff and students are required to maintain an @drexel.edu computer account. This account provides both an online identification key and a University Official Email address. The University sends much of its correspondence solely through email. This includes policy announcements, emergency notices, event notifications, course syllabi and requirements, and correspondence between faculty and students. Such correspondence is mailed only to the University Official Email address.
